The Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (Argentina), together with UN-Habitat, have organised the competition ‘Think of Housing, Live the City’ as part of Habitat III, the third UN Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development, to be held in Quito in October 2016.
Participating projects should deal with relationships between the city’s physical and social fabric. The purpose of the studies must be the regeneration of run-down, vacant or obsolete urban areas and interventions in consolidated urban spaces associated with processes, regeneration and compacting of the city.
All projects and academic work produced by students can be entered. All entries must be tutored and part of an academic programme. The projects may be in Portuguese or Spanish, and the deadline for sending them is 30 November 2015.
