5th Online Course on Decentralisation and Local Governability comes to an end

The 5th Online Course on Decentralisation and Governability run by UCLG Committee on Decentralisation and Local Self-Government has concluded. This year, 60 students took part, 30 for each class (English and Spanish), including local government officers and elected officials from 30 countries around the world.

With the aim of strengthening governability and the autonomy of local governments, the Committee initiated this training course in 2009 to improve skills among political leaders and officers from local and regional government. Since then, this course has become a consolidated activity by the Committee, with growing demand.
