Urban and Territorial Governance: key to the debate at the Executive Bureau in Liverpool

Bureau Liverpool_FR

The UCLG Committee on Decentralisation and Local Self-Government, together with LSE Cities and UN-HABITAT, has organised a session on Urban and Territorial Governance, to be held at the UCLG’s Executive Bureau on 17 June.

Bearing in mind that governance is one of the main pillars of the Post-2015 Development Agenda and Habitat III, the aim of the session is to provide a space for reflection on new elements of debate in the global agenda that could also be incorporated into the 4th Global Report on Decentralisation and Local Democracy (GOLD IV).

The session will provide an exclusive opportunity for members of local government (UCLG), academics (LSE Cities) and members of an international organisation such as UN-HABITAT to join forces and enrich discussion on this topic, while also presenting the methodologies to follow and the benchmark cities involved in the study.
